You may have heard of Stephen H. Segal from his contributions to popular sci-fi/horror magazine Weird Tales, his current stint as Editor in Chief of the Philadelphia Weekly or his book Geek Wisdom. He is also an editor at QuirkBooks, and will be moderating the discussion between Togather authors Andri Magnason and Sean Ferrell.
Magnason’s new novel LoveStar tells of a futuristic society that has discovered a new way of transmitting data: birdwaves. However, with progress comes a consumerist technological takeover that forces young lovers Indridi and Sigrid to fight for their love when it is declared scientifically invalid.
Ferrell’s The Man in the Empty Suit is the story of a time traveler who spends his birthday alone each year in an abandoned hotel with only past and present versions of himself for company. When a woman he has never seen before suddenly shows up at his annual celebration, the time traveler finds himself caught up in a conspiracy that may endanger one or more versions of his life.
